The IndusMobile Privacy Policy

IndusMobile has created this privacy policy to actively demonstrate our commitment to consumer privacy. IndusMobile was founded on the belief that with the right tools marketers can do an excellent job appealing to the personal preferences of consumers, without spamming them and while respecting their privacy.

We believe that by following these practices IndusMobile and its customers can do the job of delivering wireless marketing without unnecessary use or disclosure of consumer information. This policy addresses activities undertaken by IndusMobile and the information that we actually can access because it resides on our servers. The Information We Collect and How We Use It

IndusMobile is committed to consumer privacy. By using our Web site and our service, participants consented to the collection and use of information by IndusMobile as detailed below.

Contact Information: When participants apply or register on our Web site, we ask for personally identifying information such as name and email address. We may find it necessary to use the contact information to inform participants of updates, about transactions or account information, or to provide customer support.

Personal Profile: During the registration process we ask for demographic profile and preferences regarding the types of marketing information the participant would like to receive. We personalize IndusMobile ads, messages, and IndusMobile Web pages by storing preference settings and profiles so the participant can control the promotions, special offers, newsletters, updates and other information received from us. These personal settings are maintained for the participant's benefit and will not be shared with third parties except in the ways explained below.

Wireless Identification Information: In order to deliver ads and messages to the wireless phone or device, we access some wireless identifying information. In addition, we may occasionally place a telephone call to the wireless phone number, but only if it's necessary to provide customer service.

Financial Information: If the participant chooses to take advantage of making purchases with the wireless phone or device, we ask for credit card number, expiration date and billing address, so that our systems can process whatever purchases or transactions are made.

Credit Approval Information: When applying for offers that require a credit check, such as a free wireless phone, we may ask for Social Security number, birth date, driver's license number, or credit card number. This information is sent to a wireless service provider to obtain credit approval. Every time a credit card number or other personally identifying information is entered, we encrypt it using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. SSL protects information as it crosses the Internet.

Web Site and Wireless Tracking Information: We're always looking to improve our delivery of services to participants. And to do so we may track purchasing history as well as any advertisement or product searches and saves that are made through the wireless phone or device or our Web site. The terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy govern this information.

Internet Protocol Address: IndusMobile automatically receives and records information on our server logs from the browser including the IP (Internet Protocol) address and the specific Web pages requested. We use this information to help diagnose problems with our server and to better administer our Web site.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

IndusMobile will never sell or rent personally identifiable information to anyone.

The only time IndusMobile will send personally identifiable information to others is when:

» The participant has given consent to share the information;

» We need to share information to provide a product or service requested. This may include sending personally identifiable information to the third party from whom we are requesting the product or service on the participant's behalf and/or their agent or representative.

» We need to send the information to companies who work on behalf of IndusMobile. Examples include delivering packages, providing customer care, administering and analyzing surveys, and processing card payments. These companies never have the right to use personally identifiable information beyond what is necessary to perform their functions;

» We are required by law to respond to subpoenas, court orders or legal process.

Third Party Providers: IndusMobile will provide ads, messages and Web site links to and from third parties in the course of providing our service. IndusMobile is not responsible for the privacy policies or practices of third party providers. We encourage participants to carefully read the privacy policies of third parties.

Aggregate Information: Aggregate information is simply generic information about Web site traffic, other Web site and wireless device information, registration status, sales, saved searches, transactions and users of our Web site and IndusMobile services from which any and all personal or individually identifiable information has been removed. We may share, sell or otherwise make available such aggregate information to third parties, including our current partners. We may also buy or otherwise receive such aggregate information from such third parties.

Controlling Information

Profile and Personal Preferences: IndusMobile gives participants the ability to easily edit profile, credit card information (if applicable) and preferences at any time through personalized IndusMobile Web pages.

Opting-In: When participants choose to sign up for our service, that's called opting-in. IndusMobile is committed to permission-based, opt-in marketing - meaning, we only market to you if you say we can. When participants first opt-in, they provide some of the information described above. And later, through our communications with participants, we may offer them opportunities to obtain additional or enhanced services or products from IndusMobile or selected third parties. We may request additional personal or other information in order to obtain these additional or enhanced services or products. Any additional information that is provided to IndusMobile is subject to the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Opting-Out: As part of opting-in to the IndusMobile service, participants agree to the terms and conditions of the User Agreement, such as receiving a minimum of three advertisements per day on the wireless device. At any time participants may choose to opt-out of the program by contacting customer care at IndusMobile. If, in exchange for participation, participants were given free equipment or services, they may be billed for the cost of the equipment or services. Corrections/Updates: If any contact or other personal information changes or is incorrect, participants may access their personal profile and make the appropriate changes or send an email to customercare@IndusMobile.com with new or updated information.

Use of Cookies

Cookies: Our Web site may use cookies to enhance the consumer experience. Cookies are bits of information used for record-keeping purposes that are sometimes transferred to the participant's computer from our server. Once in place, cookies make web surfing easier by performing certain functions such as saving passwords and personal preferences on our Web site, and by ensuring that participants do not see the same ad repeatedly. Many consider the use of cookies to be an industry standard.

Refusing Cookies: The browser is probably already set to accept cookies. To not receive cookies, change the browser configuration to refuse them. However, please note that if the browser is set to refuse cookies, some areas of our Web site and other Web sites may not function properly when viewed.

Security

When participants access their IndusMobile account, we use a secure server that encrypts all information input before it's sent to us. Personalized IndusMobile Web pages are password-protected for consumer privacy and security.

In addition, all of the information we collect is protected against unauthorized access using industry standard efforts (such as firewalls or secure sockets layer where appropriate) to safeguard the confidentiality of personally identifiable information.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

IndusMobile reserves the right to edit this policy from time to time. If we make substantial changes we will notify participants by posting a prominent announcement on our Web pages.
